Privacy
Short, because there is very little to say.
What we collect
- Encrypted notes. We receive notes already encrypted by your browser. We do not have the key and cannot read them. Each is deleted when it is opened or when it expires, whichever comes first, and never kept longer than 7 days.
- Standard request logs. Like any website, our hosting platform (Microsoft Azure) processes your IP address to deliver the page and to limit abuse. These operational logs are kept for a short period and are never used for marketing.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, names or email addresses.
- No cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and no third-party scripts.
- No note contents, ever, in readable form.
Requests for data
If we receive a lawful request for a note, the most we can provide is encrypted data we cannot decrypt, and only if the note has not yet been opened or expired.
